UNUSUAL MULTIPLE BIRTHS

Celebrity boxer Nadya Suleman, dubbed ‘Octomom’, from California, gave birth to octuplets in January 2009. She already had six children at home when she had IVF. She was only the second woman to successfully do so in America.

Mia McGhee from Columbus gave birth to sextuplets last year, becoming an internet sensation after posting a photo with partner Rozonno and their babies on Facebook. They then appeared on Oprah who gave them $250,000 of Walmart credit.

Jeanette Fardelin from Liverpool, Merseyside conceived quintuplets through IVF and the deep freeze but they were born over six years in a modern day miracle. The last two were born in July this year.

Kim Hefer of Little Paxton, Cambridgeshire gave birth to two sets of twin boys on the same day four years apart, in 2008 and this year.
