One-tonne burger created

A US casino has created a onetonne cheeseburger.

Black Bear Casino Resort near Carlton, Minnesota, cooked up the huge burger, which is 10 feet in diameter, and has officially been named the world's biggest burger.

Guinness Records representative Philip Robertson verified the record and said the burger "tastes really good".

Tipping the scales at more than 2,000 pounds, the burger is so heavy a crane has to be used to flip it.

The calorific treat features 60 pounds of bacon, 50 pounds of lettuce, 50 pounds of sliced onions and 40 pounds of pickles.
