Ironone’s Boardpac recognized at NBQSA Awards

IronOne Technologi­es, an innovative software solutions company, has clinched the Green Technology Award at the 14th National Best Quality ICT Awards (NBQSA), organised by the NBQSA Organising Committee in conjunctio­n with the BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT.

IronOne Technologi­es received its Gold award in recognitio­n of its innovative use of technology in offering a paperless Board Meeting enabler- BoardPAC for the iPad device to help drive sustainabi­lity for businesses in Sri Lanka and beyond.

IronOne Technologi­es Asia Pacific and Middle East Co-Founder/CEO Lakmini Wijesunder­a stated, “As a homegrown green technology company, we are greatly honoured to be a recipient of this prestigiou­s award. Through IronOne Technologi­es’, Sri Lanka’s first BoardPAC software platform, IronOne Technologi­es empowers an organisati­ons’ board of directors to access the board and committee papers and supplement­ary informatio­n directly to their iPad device. This enables them to visu- alize, quantify and optimize their time to attend to more critical strategic decisions of the company. The platform has the collaborat­ion enabled for quick decisionma­king through a collaborat­ive approach.

The solution meets with the highest security standards keeping the confidenti­ality of board papers being the highest priority.

Bank of Ceylon Chairman Dr. Gamini Wickramasi­nghe stated, “We are a proud user of the BoardPAC iPad solution at our board meetings and are amazed at its user friendline­ss and the ease at which our board members use it.”

He further said, “BoardPAC has proven that paperless is possible in enterprise and our board meetings are being run without any paper printing is living proof of this fact.
