The share price of Sampath Bank increased by Rs 0.70 (0.38%) to close at Rs 187.00 while the share price of Seylan Bank nonvoting also gained Rs 1.60 (4.79%) to close at Rs 35.00.

Lanka IOC was also among the top contributo­rs for the day. The share price of Lanka IOC increased Rs 0.70 (3.68%) to close at Rs 19.70.
