Rainy conditions to continue today as well

The Department of Meteorolog­y had forecast that rainy weather would prevail throughout the Island today (22) in the North, North Central, Uva and eastern slopes of the hill country.

According to the forecast other parts of the country may also experience showers or thunder showers in the evening accompanie­d by fairly strong winds, said Meteorolog­ist Channa Rodrigo.
