SOCIALIST YOUTH UNION WANTS LAW COLLEGE ENTRANCE EXAM PROBED
The campaign against the alleged Law College entrance examination racket escalated yesterday with the Socialist Youth Union urging the authorities to address the issue.
Issuing a statement alleging that there was a disproportionate increase in the number of successful Tamil medium stu- dents, creating doubts about a possible leak of the examination papers, the union said that, though the adversely affected students had protested for more than a week, the Law College, the Department of Examinations, and the government had continued to keep mum over the issue.
