Old Anandians Medical Guild AGM on Feb. 9

-

The Ananda College Medical Guild is an organisation that has over the years dedicated itself to gather the past pupils of Ananda College who have joined the medical profession as doctors, pharmacists, para-medics and nursing officers.

The Medical Guild by mandate is devoted to uplift the College material and human resources in order to improve the nutritional status, physical well-being, spiritual and social cohesion with a view to ultimately achieving a superior educational outcome for the present day Anandians.

Therefore, as a response to a burning need, the Ananda College Medical Guild has decided to construct a Medical Centre in the most appropriate manner to face all requirements of present students at an estimated cost of Rs 2,5 million.

In this regard, the annual get together and the Annual General Meeting of the Old Anandians Medical Guild will be held on February 9, 2013 at Lighthouse Galley, Navy Headquarters, Colombo 1, from 6.00 pm onwards.

The event also marks a special felicitation ceremony to honour distinguished old Anandian Doctors for their unparalleled services.

The Guild wishes to invite all who wish to contribute to this worthy cause to participate in this event.

Old Anandians who are in the Medical Profession are also requested to attend the Annual General Meeting and obtain their memberships of the medical guild.

Tickets for the function are available at the gate. For more details, please contact Dr. Sadaruwan de Silva 0772682212, or Dr. Damith Rodrigo 0714492876.
