Jaffna land value up by 10%

The land value in Jaffna town and its suburbs have seen a steady rise of 10 per cent in the last few years and the price of a perch of prime land in the town area was now between Rs.700,000 and Rs.800,000 according to a report.

This was a 10% increase in the last five years, according to a survey conducted by KMPG titled "Growth of Jaffna".
