Magistrate fines both van owner and driver

A businessman and his driver who pleaded guilty of using a vehicle with false number plates were fined Rs. 15,000 each by Kaduwela Magistrate Lanka Jayaratne. The two suspects had been taken into custody and their van seized by the Talangama police during a search operation and produced in court.
