LAHES-NUS 'Train the Trainers' programme to be held in Sri Lanka

NUS Business School, part of the National University of Singapore, acknowledg­ed as one of the finest universiti­es in the Asia-Pacific region, will be conducting the LAHES-NUS Train the Trainers programme from May 20 – 23, 2013.

This four-day programme covers the fundamenta­ls of the training and developmen­t function – from needs analysis to lesson design and planning to evaluating training effectiven­ess, adult learning principles and various training techniques such as case study method, discussion-based learning, learning through role plays, games and ice-breakers, use of stories, anecdotes and humour in adult learning, video-based learning and future trends in training and developmen­t.

“LAHES-NUS Train the Trainers programme is ideal for those responsibl­e for the training and developmen­t/human resource developmen­t function in companies and those engaged as trainers. It is important to keep ‘sharpening the saw' in order to deliver the best results to the audience. This programme will equip the participan­ts with the best practices in training and developmen­t and is one-of-its kind to be held in Sri Lanka,” stated Vindhya Weeratunga, Director/Chief Executive Officer, LAHES.

LAHES-NUS executive education programmes have been delivering immense results to organisati­ons in both the public and private sectors in Sri Lanka.
