A plan of an organised group to spread drug addiction among schoolchildren in Vavuniya came to light when two private bus drivers who had heroin in their possession were arrested by the Vavuniya Anti- ViceSquad. The two men were arrested on information gathered from schoolchildren travelling by bus who said the two men introduced students to drugs.
