Sunsilk Announces its 8th annual Graduation Ceremony

The Ramani Fernando Hair & Beauty Academy, together with their long-term project partner, Sunsilk, the premier hair care brand of Unilever Sri Lanka, announced their 8th Annual Graduation Ceremony. The event is scheduled to take place on the 20th of March at the Galadari Hotel, Colombo.

101 students will graduate from the Sunsilk - Ramani Fernando Hair & Beauty Academy this year. While the theme for the event is 'Hair Art 2013', some of the segments showcased in the fashion show will include the Bling category, Fantasy category, Bridal category and the Men's category with cut and colour. The graduation will also feature the Internatio­nal Gold Medal winning lecturer Mrs. Lucky Lenagala receiving her award from City & Guilds.

Mrs. Ramani Fernando, CEO and Managing Director, Ramani Fernando Salons announcing the graduation ceremony of 2013 said, “It is with great pleasure and excitement that we prepare for the graduation ceremony. Our students and of course our very own lecturer Lucky, have performed very well and brought honour to the Academy and country. I am also proud to note that we have been offering internatio­nally accepted profession­al qualificat­ions to the students of Sri Lanka for many years, giving our girls the chance to shine in the field hair care and beauty culture.”

Ms. Fernando also extended her heartfelt appreciati­on to Sunsilk for being a loyal and dedicated partner of this exciting journey for the past eight years and Mrs. Lucky Lenagala for being the driving force behind the Academy and an inspiratio­n for her students.
