Serving western cuisine with an exotic touch, the 1864 holds a grand character with panelled walls and luxurious drapes.

Welcoming tourists, business gatherings and local food lovers alike, its ‘Business lunch' is available from 12.30 pm - 2.30 pm on weekdays, offering different set menus for each day, inclusive of a main course and a buffet of soups, salads and desserts.While the much loved dinner menu is available from 7.30 pm – 10.30 pm offering a delightful variation of food for its guests. Appetizers include mouth wateringTa­smanian smoked salmon, Foie Gras, scallops, mussels, lobsters and oysters. Main courses - from Monday andTuesday its Charred Australian beef, Cajun seasoned crumbed fried seer or Crispy Fillet of Barra Mundi served with daily potatoes and fresh vegetables;Wednesdays its New Zealand lamb chops and onThursday­s one can delight in seared crispy salmon with honey mustard.While Fridays' menu includes grilled seafood platter served with garlic and lemon sauce. Main courses are followed by soups and desserts. A special dish is available for vegetarian­s, on each day.
