Serving western cuisine with an exotic touch, the 1864 holds a grand character with panelled walls and luxurious drapes.

Welcoming tourists, business gatherings and local food lovers alike, its ‘Business lunch' is available from 12.30 pm - 2.30 pm on weekdays, offering different set menus for each day, inclusive of a main course and a buffet of soups, salads and desserts.While the much loved dinner menu is available from 7.30 pm – 10.30 pm offering a delightful variation of food for its guests. Appetizers include mouth wateringTasmanian smoked salmon, Foie Gras, scallops, mussels, lobsters and oysters. Main courses - from Monday andTuesday its Charred Australian beef, Cajun seasoned crumbed fried seer or Crispy Fillet of Barra Mundi served with daily potatoes and fresh vegetables;Wednesdays its New Zealand lamb chops and onThursdays one can delight in seared crispy salmon with honey mustard.While Fridays' menu includes grilled seafood platter served with garlic and lemon sauce. Main courses are followed by soups and desserts. A special dish is available for vegetarians, on each day.
