The talented star cast includes Ramya Wanigasekara, Geetha Kanthi Jayakody, Gamini Hettiarachchi, Chandika Nanayakkara, Muthu Tharanga, Kanchana Kodituwakku, Udayanthi Kulathunga, Niroshan Wijesinghe, Niluskhi Amanda Silva, Thisuri Yuwanika, Dilhani Perera, Kingsley Loos, Sampath Tennekoon, Menike Attanayake, Pubudu Gamage, Janith Wickremage, Danushka Rathnayake, Harshana Bethmage, Akila Sandakelum, Manel Wanaguru, Nirdha Uyanhewa, Susantha Chandramali, Somasiri Alakolanga, Roshana Ondatchi and others.

Though today’s youth is blinded by love and romance, they tend to make wrong decisions with regard to their future largely because they are carried away by the notion that love is everything in life…

Despite generally portraying Nandani, Uththara, Anuththara, Sasandara, Nimsara and Rasara as mere female characters they each possess characteristics that are unique.

Uththara is the most esteemed character in Medagedara, only second to Nandani’s motherhood.

The message that Medagedara conveys to society is that the future success or failure of a woman will solely depend on the life partner she

chooses.
