Northern railway to be constructe­d with minimum environmen­tal harm

At a discussion held with an Indian Constructi­on Company yesterday, the Minister of Environmen­t and Renewable Energy said the Northern Railway track should be constructe­d with minimum harm to the environmen­t.

“The constructi­on of the Northern Railway track should not damage the environmen­t.

Any constructi­on might create a slight harm, but as this is a greatly needed constructi­on we cannot step back and should take the necessary steps to implement this with minimum environmen­tal harm” the Minister said.
