SEDONA now on DVD

Popular actress Vasanthi Chathurani’s award-winning tele drama‘Sedona’ which was directed by Premakumara Jayawardana is now available in the DVD format atToranaVideo Movies, Colombo 3.

Sedona – played byVasanthi herself, is a young woman who has lost her parents. She is caught up in a constant struggle for survival.The innocent woman tries to mind her own business but she is not spared by the male dominant society. Even Sedona’s brother fails to understand her sister who makes immense sacrifices on his behalf. Diyonis is carried away by a strange feeling of love that makes him unfaithful to his wife. Welegedara Akka manages to stay calm even after finding out that her most dreadful fears had become a reality. She only asks her husband not to deceive both women.

The 29-episode tele drama scripted by Sumithra Rahubadda is based on a story by Eva Ranaweera. Maestro Premasiri Khemadasa has composed the music scores while the vocals are by Amarasiri Peiris and Shashika Nisansala.Thisula DeepaThambawita has handled the videography.
