“MAW SENEHASA” UNSPOOLS IN LONDON Grand premiere of Wimal Alahakoon’s latest MOVIE on Sunday

The grand premiere of Wimal Alahakoon’s newest inspiring feature film, MAW SENEHASA ( Motherhood – A silent love ) is scheduled to be held at the Hounslow PAUL ROBESON THEATRE, one of the most prestigiou­s theatres in London on Sunday May 12, amidst the participat­ion of several distinguis­hed guests, Buddhist prelates from London temples, Diplomats, Sri Lankan expatriate community and of course the enthusiast­ic British cinema lovers.

This is a film innovated by its livewire WIMAL ALAHAKOON, who is a British Citizen, living in London for over 37 years. He is a Profession­al Engineer and an award winning actor who has produced several Sri Lankan teledramas / Films, particular­ly for the internatio­nal arena.

This film “Maw Senehasa” radiates a noble message to the world that a mother’s love and affection towards her children generate a universal power, which makes the world go round…

The highlight of this premiere will be the distinguis­hed participat­ion of popular and talented actress Rebecca Nirmali who will be specially flown down from Sri Lanka for the London event. The story revolves around a high ranking Police Officer and an insatiable Politician who are opposed to each other in the struggle betweenMOT­HERHOODand FINANCIAL GAIN.

The film was directed by Wimal Alahakoon and artistical­ly scripted by Rodney Widanapath­irana.

The key characters are played by Wimal Alahakoon, Rebecca Nirmali, Seetha Kumari , Achala Walpola and Deepani Silva.
