GIT exam results for 2011,2012 released
The General Information Technology (GIT) examination results for two academic years were released yesterday, the Examinations Department announced.

Four years after the introduction of GIT for Grade-12 students, the National Institute of Education conducted a research on the progress of the subjects involved. This resulted in a new syllabus being introduced from 2009 with several changes on how the subjects should be taught and how they should be assessed.
The Examinations Department has been regularly criticised by education sector officials because of the repeated delays in releasing the GIT examination results. The critics pointed out that it was of little or no purpose for candidates to sit the examination if their results were not being released on time.
