DEVOTED MOTHER -TEACHER OF ALL AGES

Mummy we remember your 3rd Death Anniversary on June 9th , 2013.

We cannot believe that three years have passed since you left me and your beloved son Brian and you are remembered by me and Brian, your loving parents, sisters & brother daily in our devotions and also by your friends, co-staff and your students.

We enjoyed a happy family life for 25 years. You were a loving wife and a mother, and a devoted teacher and cared for those in need with your supreme love and compassion.

You took great care to bring up our only child and gave him the best at all times, until your last breath.

Having had your primary education at Mowbray Colle ge, Kandy and later at High School, Kandy and serving at A. Baur & Co., Kandy as the first employee for the branch for five years, you had a vision to become an English teacher and serve the poor students of the hill country. You served for thirteen years as a Government English Trained Teacher, working hard to form a small team of ten students who excelled at the G.C.E. (O.L.) examination in the English medium, in the Central Province, and initiated the English Medium at Kathiresan Central College, Nawalapitiya.

You were a devoted Christian and upheld the ministry. You entertained visitors to our home with a smile and an unforgettable hospitality.

Your advice and encouragement to Brian and myself enabled us to achieve great land marks in our life.

The Angel is united with Christ in the presence of the Almighty God.

We miss your sweet smile, but re-call your memories forever.

We are proud of you mom, let your precious soul rest in peace with Christ.
