St Benedict’s rout Asoka MV by ten wickets

St Benedict’s routed Asoka MV Colombo by ten wickets to record their second successive win of the Under 17 Division One cricket tournament. The match played at Kotahena saw Asoka MV taking first lease of the wicket being bundled out for a meagre 30 runs with Ruwinda Niwunhella, who ended with impressive figures of 4 for 9, doing the damage. St Benedict’s in their run chase needed just 5.2 overs to reach the target.

Nalanda having made an imposing score of 260 for 6 bowled out their opponents for a low score of 114.
