CASINADER WESLEY (Former Senior Asst. Controller of Exchange Central Bank of Sri Lanka) - Husband of Kamalesweri, father of Shiranee, Charles, Melaney and Dayanee, son of Charles B, Casinader (Former Kachcheri Mudaliyar, Batticaloa Kachcheri) and Mrs. Mildred Casinader, brother of Bertram Casinader (Retired Asst. Commissioner of Local Government, Sri Lanka), Prince Casinader (Former MP and Former Principal of Methodist Central College, Batticaloa), late Noble Casinader (Retired Accountant Milk Board) and Kingsley Casinader (Former member of Academic Staff, Trinity College, Kandy, Sri Lanka), passed away in Sydney, Australia and his ashes were interred at the Methodist Section of the Batticaloa Cemetery with Revd. S.S. Terence Circuit Superintendent of the Batticaloa Methodist Church officiating at the burial service. Prince Casinader, No. 03, Love Lane, Batticaloa. GANESHALINGAM - V.T. (Retired Physical Instructor) - Beloved husband of Hearty, loving father of Shireen, Charmaine and Terry, father-in-law of Eymard, Tisseverasinghe, Gerard Raju and Subashini, much loved grandfather of Needra, Naresh, Tehani, Shania, Athish, Manisha and Majella, brother of late V.T. Vaithilingam, late V.T. Ratnalingam, V.T. Sivalingam, late V.T. Panchalingam, late V.T. Mahalingam, V.T. Sunderalingam and Thillairajeswary. Cortege leaves A.F. Raymond's Funeral Parlour at 3.30 pm on Saturday 29th June, Cremation at General Cemetery, Kanatte at 4.00 pm. No. 144/12, Alwis Town, Wattala.

GOONERATNE - SHIVANTHI - Darling daughter of Joyce and late Denzil, darling sister of Rohan and Imara, sister-inlaw of Teresa and Rohana (UK), aunty of Natasha, Priyanka and Sanjeevani (UK), expired. Cortege leaves residence at 3 pm on Saturday 29th June for Burial at Jawatte Cemetery (Roman Catholic Section). No. 46/6, Colonel Avenue, Bellantara Road, Bellanwila.

MULLER - RUTH - Beloved daughter of the late Dr. Wilfred Micheal and the late Lucy Muller, sister of Mrs Joan Pereira and Dr. Bede Muller (Australia), expired. Remains will lie at Jayaratne Funeral Parlour, Borella, from 8.30 a.m. on Friday, 28th thereafter Cortege leaves Parlour on 28th instant at 3.30 p.m. for Cremation at General Cemetery, Borella Crematorium at 4 p.m. No. 2B, Independence Avenue, Colombo 7.

PROFESSOR D.P.M. WEERAKKODY – Emeritus Professor – Department of Classical Languages, University of Peradeniya, expired. Cortege leaves residence at 3.00 pm on Wednesday, 3rd July, 2013 for burial at the Public cemetery Ja-Ela “Wimal”, Pamunugama Road, Tudella, Ja-Ela.
