Mercury offers special incentive scheme for ACCA

-

Mercury Institute of Management has always been synonymous with ACCA in Sri Lanka for over 10 years. Being the only ACCA PlatinumStatus, tuition provider in Sri Lanka ,having achieved above world pass rates for all subjects at consecutive examinations, they now reach out to lend a hand to further assist the students in Sri Lanka by offering a very special incentive scheme. The scheme is aimed at waving off the registration fee as well as the subscription fee for the ACCA program ..

With it’s dedication, passion, professionalism and methods of one-to-one coaching Mercury has experienced unprecedented growth into a foremost institute of learning, respected for its uncompromised standards and with one if the finest team of lecturers , this is just another step that has been taken by the institute in the right direction , to offer the deserving students in Sri Lanka a chance to obtain a globally recognized professional qualification and a UK degree .

This offer is open to any student who has been a high performer in school as well as those who are currently in University. Mercury would also consider students who are presently studying for a local accountancy degree such as from the Institute of Chartered Accountancy and AAT, ABE and CMA , since an internationally recognized qualification such as ACCA would aptly add weight to the qualification they are already studying. They will be also eligible for exemptions based on the levels they have already completed

Speaking of this initiative, Jeevith Shakespear, the MD/CEO of Mercury stated “The ACCA qualification aims to provide students with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of accounting and finance theory and practice. As well as giving our students a solid grounding in accounting principles and developing their soft and hard skills, our programmes have been designed to ensure that graduates will be eligible for significant examination exemptions with the major UK professional bodies. However we have found that many of the talented students in Sri Lanka have been deprived of the opportunity to study for such a qualification due to many constraints, one of them being the high cost of the qualification.”

Mercury was initially set up with the aim of making a difference in terms of opportunities offered to the Sri Lankan students felt it was an appropriate move to even in a little way assist these deserving students by offering them this scheme which waves off the registration and subscription fee which would easily amount to around Rs 50,000.
