Dunlop is the global leader for Squash equipment and the balls being used and endorsed by the World Squash Federation for a number of years. Dunlop first entered the sports business in 1910 when the company started production of Golf balls. Since then it has expanded and diversified with great success into a wide range of sports having introduced the revolutionary Aerogel technology for premium tennis rackets. Aerogel is famed for its record breaking claim as one of the lightest and strongest materials in existence.
In 2011, Dunlop employed a truly unique approach to product design and development that builds on millions of years of evolution. Biomi- metics is the study of nature and the natural world to inspire cutting edge engineering solutions and technology. Dunlop used this principle to create the ultimate range of performance equipment - Dunlop Biomimetics - inspired by nature, perfected by Dunlop.
For 2013 Dunlop took the concept of Biomimetics to another level by completely reengineering the racket frame geometrics thus creating the most performance enhancing range of rackets ever.
In Sri Lanka it is endorsed by 3 of the best players namely Ravindu Laksiri, Metsarani and Shamil who are the no 1 ranked in their respective age categories and also hold high Asian rankings as well.
Ralhum Trading the agents of Dunlop Sport in Sri Lanka have always been in the forefront of Squash development and one of its main operations is to help in the grass root development of the sport in Sri Lanka.
