Entries for the Arugam Bay Surf Classic close July 20
Surfs up, as entries for the third consecutive Arugam Bay Surf Classic for this year close on July 20. Surfers from all around Sri Lanka have the opportunity to take part in the only national surf competition scheduled to take place from July 25 to July 27th.
Gracing this year’s event will be previous long board world champion Wayne; surfers island wide can now apply for the competition to be held at the world famous Main Point in Arugam Bay.

Organised by Arugam Bay Beachwear in association with the local Arugam Bay Surf Club, the competition aims to standardise and create an identity for the sport of surfing in Sri Lanka while creating an arena of opportunity for local surfers. While expanding the local industries of the area, the not-to-be-missed event adds to the development of the local tourism industry making Sri Lanka an ideal destination for surfers.
