MY BROTHER CHRISTOPHER - A MAN OF MANY TALENTS

-

As much as he was passionate about his family, so was he passionate about his work

Christo was dedicated and was a man of integrity and gave more than 100% to his work

My darling brother Christopher Edirisinghe left us to be with the Lord on April 24 2013 in Shadow Hills, California. I should not mourn his death but celebrate his life and give thanks for the wonderful life he was blessed with.

Christo was a loving husband to his precious wife Jenny and a devoted father to his two darling children Ishanie and Chanaka. Christo welcomed their partners Waruna and Vardui warmly to his family. He adored his two grandchildren Shenalie and Layla. Christo was incredibly funny and had many stories to relate with his wonderful humour. I could comfortably say that he inherited these qualities from my father, William Temple (Barney) and my mum Marguerite.

During his teen years because of his good looks and dress sense Christo was known as Don Juan or Chevi Chase. He was a bit of a Casanova too.

As much as he was passionate about his family, so was he passionate about his work. Christo was dedicated and was a man of integrity and gave more than 100% to his work. The fortunate re- cipients of his dedication was Ford Motor Company, and the numerous customers.

Christo was loved by all who knew him in Sri Lanka, UK, Australia, Canada and USA. He loved to party and to entertain. He was a great dancer and absolutely loved the gift of life.

Christo’s popularity was confirmed as friends and family in California, UK, Canada travelled far and wide to attend his funeral service on 27 April 2013. May his soul rest in peace.
