Message from Chairman, Hotel Show Organizing Committee

It is my pleasure to be associated with South Asia’s Largest Hospitality Exhibition “Hotel Show 2013”.

This show which was held bi-annually for the past 14 years has had to meet the demand of enthusiastic exhibitors and make it an annual event this year forward with an anticipation to develop the Hospitality and Tourism industry which is gearing to host 2.5 million tourists by 2016. The Hotel Show will be a gateway for all stakeholders in the hospitality industry to upgrade their facilities and reach this target. Hotel Show 2013 showcases thousands of recognized brands from all around the globe and is an opportunity for the hotel industry to experience it all under one roof.

We are proud to bring on board “Bocuse d’Or” Sri Lanka for the 1st time, who will conduct the Bocuse d’Or competition and the finalists of this competition will take part in the “Bocuse d’Or” Asia segment.

This exhibition will also comprise of one of the best ‘Street Food Carnivals’ in Sri Lanka with the participation of recognized chefs, adding colour, entertainment and an opportunity to experience the various cuisines of many 5 star hotels catering to all taste buds giving the real feeling of hospitality.

I wish to express my sincere gratitude to LECS for organizing “Hotel Show 2013”.

I sincerely hope that all the stake-holders of this great event would conclude this year too with a sense of fulfillment as it has been in the past. I wish them all another successful year and will it to grow from strength to strength in the coming years.
