Trishaw driver stabbed to death

The Wennappuwa police said a trishaw driver aged 20 who was stabbed at a lonely place on the Lunubemma Road in Nainamadama yesterday died after being admitted to the Marawila Hospital.

The victim was Mahakelige Nalin Dharsana of Koreawatte in Chilaw, a father of one. So far no suspects had been taken into custody. It was believed a long standing dispute resulted in the killing.

The Wennappuwa police Criminal Investigation Unit OIC, Inspector W.M.A. Lakruwan was conducting further investigations.
