Mobike collides with jeep: Three hospitalised

Three persons who were injured when a motorbike collided with a jeep had been admitted to the Badulla Hospital, the police said.

The injured were the motor cyclist and two persons who travelled in the jeep.

The motorcyclist aged 39 was a resident of Dunuwangiya in Badulla and was seriously injured, according to the Police. The other two were residents from Polgahawela and Silver Land in Badulla.

The accident occurred while the jeep was speeding towards Badulla and the motorcyclist was travelling towards Welikalamulla. On the instructions of the Badulla SP Gregory Cooray, investigations were being conducted by the HQ Chief Inspector, D.B.H. Kalansiri, ASP Leelaratne and Sergeant (29055) Premathilake.
