Mobike collides with jeep: Three hospitalis­ed


Three persons who were injured when a motorbike collided with a jeep had been admitted to the Badulla Hospital, the police said.

The injured were the motor cyclist and two persons who travelled in the jeep.

The motorcycli­st aged 39 was a resident of Dunuwangiy­a in Badulla and was seriously injured, according to the Police. The other two were residents from Polgahawel­a and Silver Land in Badulla.

The accident occurred while the jeep was speeding towards Badulla and the motorcycli­st was travelling towards Welikalamu­lla. On the instructio­ns of the Badulla SP Gregory Cooray, investigat­ions were being conducted by the HQ Chief Inspector, D.B.H. Kalansiri, ASP Leelaratne and Sergeant (29055) Premathila­ke.
