Gang of suspects held for arson

A gang of men had allegedly set fire to a house where bricks were stored at Meepanaara, Hulandawa South in Moneragala, the police said.

The neighbours said the entire house was destroyed due to the fire.

So far no one was taken into the custody.

Further investigations were being carried out on the instructions of the OIC, Chief Inspector B.M.M. Dasanayake.
