Students who ‘stole’ computers from school given bail
Police later recovered the stolen computers from a shop in the area
Three students of the Tinsin Tamil Maha Vidyalaya in Bagawanthalawa were released on personal bail of Rs 25,000 each by the Hatton District Judge and Magistrate Amila Ariyasena on Saturday when they were produced in court for alleged stealing of computers from the school.
On a complaint made by the principal of the school, the Bagawanthalawa police had arrested three students on suspicion.
Police had later recovered the stolen computers from a shop in the area whose owners had bought them from these students.
The case was fixed for August 06 and suspects were ordered to be present in court.
