Mahindra Two Wheelers enters Sri Lanka

Mahindra Two Wheelers Limited, part of the $ 16.2 billion Mahindra Group, one of India’s leading business houses, launched its range of two wheelers in Sri Lanka recently. These include – two powerful scooters, the Rodeo RZ and Duro DZ and two intelligen­t motorcycle­s, the Pantero and the Centuro, -marking its entry into the Sri Lankan two wheeler segment.

Mahindra Two Wheelers has joined hands with Ideal 2 Wheelers (Pvt) Ltd, a subsidiary of the Rs. 15 billion Ideal Group. Ideal will function as the Group’s authorized distributo­r for Sri Lanka. In addition to being the distributo­r for many global brands, it also boasts of a presence in various key sectors. Nalin J Welgama is the Founder and Chairman of the Group, while Aravinda de Silva is its Deputy Chairman.

Having undergone extensive testing in the lab, on the road and in the hands of consumers across India, Mahindra Two Wheelers’ latest offerings for riders not only score high on styling but also on performanc­e.

Speaking on the occasion, Nalin J Welgama, Chairman, Ideal Group said, “We are confident that our network of dealers across all key cities of Sri Lanka and our state-of-theart showrooms and workshop would ensure the best aftersales support and spares availabili­ty.”
