Lankaputhra launches “Jathika Viyavasayaka Athwela” training program
To strengthen and support entrepreneurs, Lankaputhra Development Bank has introduced the “Jathika Viyavasayaka Athwela” training program.
The training program is conducted by Lankaputhra Development Bank with the support of the National enterprise Development Authority and the Memorandum of Understanding was signed recently in Colombo.
Small and Medium scale entrepreneurs encounter many difficulties when doing business and “Jathika Vivasayaka Athwela” was introduced as a long term solution by the Lankaputhra Development Bank. How to identify a business, prepare a business plan as well as legal issues when establishing a business , finding a market, keeping accounts as well as numerous aspects which have to be considered when establishing and conducting a business and problem solving will be taught under these training programs.
The training program will be held in many stages for entrepreneurs who have obtained loans from Lankaputhra Development Bank. In the initial stage the bank is planning to conduct two days sessions for each branch. For each training session, 30 entrepreneurs from the district will be selected.
Subject knowledge will be given by professionals. Lankaputhra Development Bank together with National Enterprise Development Authority will find the resource personnel.
