Pirith chanting to invoke blessings

A special chanting of the Rathana Suthraya to invoke merits for President Mahinda Rajapaksa and the country was inaugurated recently in the Kalutara district under the patronage of the Fisheries Minister Rajitha Senaratne.

The urn containing the blessed water was presented to the Galagoda Sri Maha Viharaya Chief Incum- bent Ven Pothupitiye Pagnasekara Thera by the minister, before beginning the Sadaham Yathrawa parading the streets of the Kalutara district chanting Pirith.
