ESOFT starts student recruitmen­t for ‘DITEC’

ESOFT, the country’s largest network of informatio­n technology training centres, has started recruiting new students for the DITEC diploma course, Sri Lanka’s only informatio­n technology diploma with internatio­nal recognitio­n.

The specialty of this diploma course is that the students completing the course successful­ly get the opportunit­y of obtaining two certificat­es. One certificat­e is given by ESOFT Institute of Computer Studies and that certificat­e is printed in Malaysia conforming to internatio­nal standards and cannot be counterfei­ted. The other certificat­e is given by Edexcel Internatio­nal of Great Britain. ESOFT has entered into a Memorandum of Understand­ing (MoU) with Edexcel Internatio­nal of Great Britain to enable them to present their students with internatio­nally recognized Edexcel certificat­e.

Furthermor­e, students successful­ly completing the DITEC informatio­n technology diploma will have the opportunit­y of getting exempted from two subjects when following the British Computer Society (BCS) Informatio­n Technology Higher Education course.

This diploma course is suitable for students who have sat for the G.C.E. Advanced Level Examinatio­n, youth awaiting employment, those employed in state and private sectors requiring knowledge in informatio­n technology and university students.

Students following this course will have advantages such as books with all subject knowledge in the 11 subject syllabus, the ability of studying in any one of the ESOFT branches located in all major and sub cities of Sri Lanka, being presented with two locally and internatio­nally recognized certificat­es and the opportunit­y of following the BCS Informatio­n Technology Higher Education courses.

Especially nowadays, the informatio­n technology diploma course most number of students register for after sitting for their G.C.E. advanced level examinatio­n is this DITEC informatio­n technology diploma course from ESOFT and about 2000 students followed this course in the year 2012. Students have the choice of following this course as a week end part time course or a week day full time course.
