Massive win for CCC “A”

An unbroken 263 runs stand for the second wicket between Tharusha Wijayabahu (100 not out in 70 balls, inclusive of 2 sixes and 16 fours) and Ayana Siriwardena (145 not out in 83 balls inclusive of 7 sixes and 16 fours) gave CCC “A” a massive 177 – runs win over BRC “B” on the opening day (Wednesday) in the MCA Inter-Academy under 15 30-over cricket tournament.

Heshan Kavindu from Brendon Kuruppu was the other centurion, hammering 106 runs in 77 balls, inclusive of a six and 18 fours, which propelled them to a 161 – runs win over Moratuwa.
