NTB’s 66th branch opens at Old Moor Street

-

Nations Trust Bank (NTB) was proud to open its 66th branch recently at No: 360, Old Moor Street, Colombo 12. The bank is well-known to offer unparalleled convenience in banking, with its unique and proprietary branch design offering the ultimate in banking standards coupled with 365-day banking and extended banking hours.

This branch opening continues NTB’s aggressive branch and automated teller machine (ATM) expansion throughout the country, facilitating transactional convenience to customers all over Sri Lanka.

Of particular interest to the business community of Old Moor Street will be NTB’s Business Banking offering, which recently launched a business loan product that offers the business customer quick access to finance to meet their business requirements.

The bank also excels in factoring and post-dated cheque discounting facilities whereby business customers can leverage their receivables without tying up tangible collateral. The highlight of operating a Business Banking account with NTB is that it offers an attractive rewards scheme for Platinum and Gold Business customers.

Reward points can be earned based on the transactions done through the business account. The rewards benefit gives customers an opportunity to redeem their points at selected merchants making it the best value in redemption since one reward point equals one rupee, a ‘one for one’ redemption.

NTB branch managers and SME banking staff are also specially trained in the SME Toolkit, available on the Internet in all English, Sinhala and Tamil, which can offer businesses many useful tools in running their business.

Additionally, the bank offers specialized products and services to all segments of individual customers such as Private Banking, Inner Circle and Nations Salary Saver, each with a variety of special features and attractions to customers to provide them with the most convenient banking solutions.

The recently launched Nations MasterCard World and MasterCard Platinum branded signature-based debit ‘Shopping Card’ will give customers access to over 1000 ATMs locally as well as globally and enable to shop with their card without having to carry cash, making NTB customers’ lives even more convenient.

Speaking at the opening ceremony Director and CEO Renuka Fernando stated, “Our business customers are a strategically important sector to the economy. Through our innovative products and services, which include property based loans, working capital financing, cash management services, trade services for importers/exporters, guarantee facilities as well as leasing and factoring solutions; we will continue to empower the business community to meet their financial needs.

We have established branches in key towns in order to give continuous support to businesses and rolled out a number of Nations Business Centres that serve as one-stop-shops with unprecedented customer service coupled with 365-day banking and extended banking hours.”
