The third round matches of the Premier limited over cricket tournament scheduled to be played today will see the six unbeaten teams Colts, Ragama CC, Army SC in Group A and NCC, SSC and Moors in Group B looking to maintain their record.

Colts and Ragama CC have two easy outings confronting lowly placed Panadura SC and Badureliya SC who both are yet to see the winning post.

Badureliya SC have lost both their matches and it’s left to be seen how they are going to confront the high riding defending champions Ragama CC who have notched up two wins.

Colts too who have won both the matches on the other hand should find little difficulty in brushing aside the challenge of Panadura SC

Army SC another team in the same group to have won their two games will clash against Air Force SC. But

NCC vs. SLPACC at Colts, SSC vs. Tamil Union at SSC and Moors SC vs. Chilaw Marians at Braybrooke Place. they are not going to have it easy as Air Force SC played a gritty game against Ragama CC though they lost the match.

Colts lead the table in Group A due to a better run rate followed by Ragama CC and Army SC in third. The other four teams Air Force SC, Badureliya SC, CCC and Panadura SC in this group are yet to win a game. Two of the three matches due to be played in the Group B are going to be keen tussles with table leaders NCC and second placed SSC having tough assignments.

NCC is down to play SLPA who have to blame themselves for having lost the previous match against Moors SC. They possess a mixture of experience and budding youngsters.

SSC who featured in a no decision against SLPA and then struggled to overcome Bloomfield in their next outing will be facing a acid test when they meet a strong Tamil Union outfit.

Tamil Union was unfortu- nate as their match against Moors SC ended in a tie which in fact they should have won. But they would have realized their mistake and will no doubt be looking forward to chalk up their first win.

In the other match in this group Moors SC will be seeking to record their second win when they confront Chilaw Marians. NCC, SSC, Moors SC and Tamil Union are the unbeaten teams in Group B.
