Registrations now on for Biz Quiz 2014 - Corporate Quiz competition

Biz Quiz 2014, Sri Lanka’s premier corporate quiz competition organized exclusively for companies in the mercantile sector will be held on February 2, at the Galadari Hotel Colombo.

Organised by Dashing Events in association with the European Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (ECCSL) for the 2nd consecutive year, Biz Quiz is a table quiz where each team comprising of 5 members will collectively answer 50 general knowledge questions over 5 rounds covering a wide area of topics including: Current Affairs, Geography, History, World Politics, Creative Arts, Sports and Entertainment. In addition to this, there will also be a round of questions focusing specifically on Europe and Business. Not only will this competition be exclusively for the mercantile sector, but it will also recognise winners from various categories (Banking and Finance, IT, Telecom, BPO, Apparel, Travel and Hospitality, etc.).

Last year’s Biz Quiz was a tremendous success with nearly 35 teams taking part under 5 categories. DFCC Bank emerged overall Champions closely followed by Seylan Bank and HSBC-HDPL who came in 2nd and 3rd respectively.

Dashing Events is an event management company in Sri Lanka handling a wide variety of events including corporate launches, conferences, get-togethers, kiddie’s parties and weddings.

The company has organised several successful quiz programmes in the recent past including Biz Quiz 2013, Cric Quiz 2013 and SLASSCOM Megamind 2012.
