People’s Leasing begins 2014 with CSR programme
People’s Leasing and Finance PLC, the foremost finance company and the market leader in Sri Lanka’s non-banking finance sector, started the year 2014 with a generous corporate social responsibility (CSR) activity.
The company donated two Tipper vehicles to the Civil Security Department of Sri Lanka to be used in the latter’s programme on restoration of religious places and providing infrastructure for various entities.
At a function held on January 1, 2014, at the People’s Leasing head office, People’s Bank and People’s Leasing Group Chairman Gamini S. Senerath officially handed over the two vehicles to Civil Security Department Director General Rear Admiral Ananda Peiris. The occasion was graced by People Leasing Directors P. Kudabalage, Anura Chandrasiri and Vasantha Kumar, CEO and General Manager D.P. Kumarage, Deputy General Managers, officers of Civil Security Department and the head office staff members.
