Rain saves Rajans at Lake View

The under 19 Singer Inter-School Cricket encounter between St. Benedict’s College and Dharmaraja College ended in a draw yesterday at the Lake View Grounds.

St Benedict’s declared their first innings on 221/5 after a rain-shortened first day, and bowled out Dharmaraja for a score of 111 in their first innings, before restricting them to 57/8 in their second innings.

D. Jayatilake returned a match bag of 11 wickets for 69 runs while R. Soysa picked up 7 for 38 in the game.
