Ministry assures speedy investigations into complaints by commuters
The Ministry of Private Transport Services assured commuters yesterday that it would investigate every complaint lodged by them against errant private buses with the the new emergency number that was launched recently.
On the first day of this month, the Ministry introduced a new complaints desk where the passenger would be able to skype, email or text in their complaints, while a new hotline too was introduced on that day.
As of today a total of 34 complaints had been received on this number, with 32 of them being against buses belonging to the provincial private bus service.
