SAYER AND SUDHARAKA STAR INTRINITY DOMINANCE

Trinity College Kandy were set for their fourth consecutiv­e win this season placed strongly against Dharmapala College in the Singer Under 19 Inter school cricket encounter which began at the Asgiriya Stadium in Kandy yesterday.

Taking first lease of the wicket the Trinitians made a brisk 223 off 51 overs. Charith Sudaraka and Nushan Weerasingh­e scored half centuries for the "Lions". In reply Dharmapala were shot out for 90 with Ravin Sayer once again capturing 5 wickets for only 14 runs. So far this season the spinning sensa- tion Ravin Sayer had captured 40 wickets. Following on with a deficit of 133 runs the Pannipiya school were in deep trouble in their second innings when bad light stopped play at 5.45 pm reeling on 22 for the loss of 2 wickets.

If the rains keep away the "Lions" should be home for lunch.
