The present board of Orient Garments now comprise of: Dr.Ali Asger Shabbir Gulamhusein (Chairman), Saliya Perera and Udeni Abeykoon (Executive Directors), Iman Zahir (Independent Non-Executive Director), Rev.Lawrence Mervyn Frisgerald Adams, Danushya Mediwake Gulamhusein, Loolbadd Waduge Waruna Priyankara and Idris Shabbir (Non-Executive Directors). Meanwhile, becoming the first to release the December quarter performances, Orient Garments reported a massive net loss of R.301 million against a Rs.14 million net profit in the same period of the previous year.

The revenue for the period had dropped to Rs.438 million from Rs.1.1 billion reported previous year. The finance cost stood over Rs.40 million.
