Report on those killed and missing by next month

The Census and Statistics Department will issue its preliminary report next month on those killed, had disappeared or been abducted without a trace during the conflict between 1982 and 2013. The report will be prepared in keeping with international standards and will be open for perus- al by anyone interested in doing so, a Census and Statistics Department official said.

Census and Statistics Department Director General D.C.A. Gunawardana said the Department had conducted the countrywide survey from November to December 30 by some 16,500 enumerators, officials and volunteers.
