Take Rs.5 and give us our pay slips

We pensioners drawing our pension from the Kesbewa Divisional Office do not get our monthly pension pay slip, causing great inconvenience and embarrassment when applying for a loan from an institution which has made this a requirement. We are made to understand that this is due to the non-availability of funds for postage.

May we suggest Rs.5 be deducted from our pension - after all, what is Rs.5? Even a beggar now refuses this amount for being so valueless.
