School books for children of Soysapura flats

Commemorating the birthday of Akalanka Karunaratne who resides in Melbourne, Ms Padmini Karunaratne, gifted school books to 50 children of B10-B11 flats at Soysapura recently, in the premises of these flats.

The occasion was attended by Western Provincial Councillor Amal Silva, Moratuwa MMCs Suresh Indika and Ajith Chandra Soma, and artiste Denuwan Senadhi.

Moratuwa Mayor Saman De Silva and residents of the flats also participated to make the event a success.
