THE MUSEUM ATTHE KELANIYA RAJA MAHAVIHARAYA OPENS TO THE PUBLIC

The historic Kelaniya Rajamaha Viharaya Museum is now ready for public viewing. The ancient temple of The Buddha is considered a place of worship in honour of The Buddha’s visit.

Antiques gifted by the Wijewardene family are exhibited in the museum for public viewing. The museum also carries exhibits that are relevant to the history of the Kelaniya Kingdom.
