Legal action against hotel and eatery traders

Legal action was to be taken by the public health authorities against ten traders who had their hotels and eateries in Nallathanni en route to Sri Pada in an unhygienic condition and for selling goods in a fraudulent manner.

The authorities raided these hotels and eateries specially meant for the Sri Pada pilgrims yesterday and found several eateries where labels on cool drink bottles had been changed, price tags had not been displayed and toilets not properly maintained.
