Nondescripts CA under 13 shines in Shimoga and Davangere
Nondescripts Cricket Academy under 13 cricketers shone in Shimoga and Davangere, India on their recently concluded tour.
They played 10 matches and were triumphant in seven and had their flag lowered in only three.
Yasith Samaradiwakara was the back bone of the team, as he performed every time he got an opportunity with both bat and ball. And he truly deserved the man of the series and best all rounder awards.
Hemal Rathnayake was excellent an all three departments of the game.
The pick of tour was Moksha Samaranayake. The team did not have a first choice wicket keeper and he was called up to wear the gloves. He responded to the call and did an excellent job and also opened the innings many times. He was also the 2nd highest run scorer on the tour.
The following players won special awards. Best Batsman – M. Shashank. Best Bowler – Hemal Ratnayake. Best Fielder (wicket keeper) R. Akshay. Best all-rounder and Man of the Series – Yasith Samaradiwakara.
The Nondescripts Cricket Academy was awarded the champions trophy, while Shimoga CA took the runners-up trophy.
