-

Singer relocated its Colombo Service Centre from Dudley Senanayake Mawatha to No: 128, N.M. Perera Mawatha, Colombo 8, in an effort to provide an enhanced after-sales service to customers.

Leveraging Sri Lanka’s largest retail and service networks, comprising over 400 retail outlets, nine regional service centres and over 300 Singer authorized service agents who attend to islandwide repairs, Singer continues to strengthen its commitment to trusted excellence.

Having invested heavily on modern amenities and providing greater accessibility, the new Singer Service Centre in Colombo 8 was declared open by Singer Sri Lanka CEO Asoka Pieris.

The new Singer Service Centre provides a streamlined service for the repair and maintenance of any appliance bought at Singer or through an authorized dealer. In order to provide a more convenient, onestop experience, customers are also able to purchase genuine spare parts through the Singer spare parts counter located within the premises of the new service centre.

Singer service centres are comprehensively equipped with over 20,000 different spare parts in order to service products that have been used over a long period of time. The Singer Service Centre in Colombo 8 represents the Colombo region within Singer’s islandwide service network.

A highly experienced and dedicated young team was posted to the new Singer Service Centre, where customers are guaranteed a swift and intelligent service. While every customer that walks into the service centre will be attended to, the customer service team is also committed to respond to field complaints within 24 to 48 hours. The technicians at Colombo’s new Singer Service Centre have been trained overseas in their particular fields of expertise, including LCD/LED technology, modern and efficient refrigeration systems and more.

The relocation and modernization of the Colombo region’s Singer Service Centre, is an example of the constant advancements being made to improve the after-sales services provided by Singer.

In recognition of the company’s firm commitment to its customers, Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC was awarded the highest accolade for customer relations – Category Award Winner of Customer Relations – at the recently held Best Corporate Citizen Awards organised by the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce. Singer was also placed among Sri Lanka’s Ten Best Corporate Citizens.
